Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Settings

This feature is available only for business event categories such as conferences, seminars, exhibitions, and medical events. Personal events like weddings and first birthday parties aren't eligible for search exposure, so this setting won't appear for them.

Business event pages can be indexed by search engines like Google. The preview used for social media sharing (e.g., KakaoTalk) is managed separately in Social Media Sharing Settings (OG Image) — this document covers the information displayed in search results.

Setting Up Search Information (Share Setup Step 1)

  1. From the My Invitations list, click the Share button on the template card to enter the share setup wizard
  2. Expand the Search Optimization (Optional) section at the bottom of the Step 1 screen
  3. Enter the following fields:
SettingDescription
Search TitleThe title displayed in search results. If left blank, the share title is used instead
Search DescriptionThe description displayed in search results. If left blank, the share description is used instead
KeywordsEnter as a comma-separated list (e.g., "conference, Seoul, 2026")

Search titles can be up to 120 characters and descriptions up to 320 characters. For keywords, enter multiple words related to your event, separated by commas.

If you leave these fields blank, the information entered in Social Media Sharing Settings will be used for search as well. Only fill these in separately if you want your search-facing copy to differ from your social sharing copy.

Multilingual Search Information + AI Translation

If your template has translation languages configured, language tabs will appear above the search information fields.

  1. In the original language tab, enter the search title, description, and keywords first
  2. Switch to the tab for the language you want to translate into
  3. Click AI Translate from Original — AI will translate the original content and fill in the fields (keywords are translated per item as well)
  4. Edit the translated results if needed, then save

The AI Translate button is available on premium plans only. On the free plan, you'll need to enter each translation language tab manually. AI translation has a daily usage limit; if you exceed it, you'll need to try again the next day.

Setting Up the Search URL (Share Setup Step 2)

Unlike personal events, business events show a dedicated search URL screen in Step 2 of the share setup wizard.

  1. Enter the English address (slug) you want — e.g., my-conference-2026
  2. Duplicate checking runs automatically as you type (a red X appears if another template is already using that address)
  3. If it's available, a green checkmark appears along with a preview of the final URL: .../{category}/{address you entered}

The search URL can be left blank. If left blank, an address will be generated automatically from the title when you publish. Only enter one yourself if you want a short, memorable English address that's better for search.
