Discover — Browsing and Listing Events
Discover is where publicly listed events come together. Visitors can browse events that interest them, and hosts can reach new attendees without sharing a link directly.
Browsing Discover
Open it from View all in the "Happening now" section on the home page, or go to /en/discover directly.
The event list
Events are ordered by:
- Featured events first
- Then by how soon they start
Past events drop off the list automatically. Each page shows 24 events, with pagination at the bottom.
Narrowing by category
Pick a category from the left sidebar (top on mobile) to see only that kind of event. Only categories that actually have events are shown, along with their counts, so you never land on an empty list.

Choose a country and you can narrow further by city, with the event count shown for each city.
Online events are grouped separately from regions. Events held remotely, such as webinars, don't get mixed into country and city lists — you'll find them under Online.
Searching
Enter a keyword and results are split into two tabs: Events and Templates. Each tab shows its result count, so if what you're looking for is in the other tab, you can switch straight to it.
Event search matches all of the following:
- Event title
- City name — works in any supported language, so "Tokyo" and "東京" both find the same events
- Country name — searching "Japan" surfaces events held in Japan
- Category name — searching "Conference" surfaces every conference
Getting your event listed on Discover
Listing requirements
Your event must meet all of the following to appear on Discover.

Your first listing goes through a review
The first time you make an event publicly searchable, our team reviews it before it appears on Discover and in search results.
Links you've shared still open normally during the review. The review only applies to places where the platform surfaces your event first, such as Discover and search results. Attendees arriving through a link you sent them don't have to wait.
Once you've been approved, republishing or editing later won't put you back in the queue.
Always-on events without a date
For things like clinics or property promotions that have no specific date, leave the event date blank and your listing stays up instead of disappearing. If you do enter a date, the event drops off the list automatically once that date passes.
Region is determined from your address
Enter an address in the Location/Map section and we work out which country and city list it belongs to. There's no separate field for choosing a region.
Even for areas not in our list, the address you entered appears on the card as-is, so your event location still comes across accurately.
What appears on the card
A Discover card shows the cover image along with the category, region, title, event date, host name, and attendee count.
- Cover image: falls back to your social sharing image if you haven't set one
- Host name: whatever you entered under Host in the share setup wizard
- Attendee count: shown only once you have registrations
Removing it from search
When the event is over, or you'd rather not surface it for a while, you can turn off search visibility while leaving it published.
- Open Share setup for that event from Dashboard > Collections
- Turn off the Search visibility switch in step 1
- It applies immediately — no separate save
This is not the same as unpublishing. Unpublishing also closes the links you shared, so attendees can no longer see the event details. To remove it from search only, always use the Search visibility switch.

Turning it back on
Flip the same switch back on. Events that have already been reviewed once go live again immediately, with no waiting.
Events with password protection can't have search visibility turned on. The two can't be used together, so remove the password first. See Settings Tab for details.
Frequently asked questions
I published my event but it isn't on Discover
Check these in order.
- Is Search visibility switched on? Publishing alone won't list it if this is off
- Have you set a password? Turning on password protection switches search visibility off automatically
- Has the event date passed? Past events drop off the list
- If this is your first listing, has the review finished?
Can I put a wedding invitation on Discover?
No. Weddings, baby celebrations, birthdays, and parties are private invitations, so they aren't eligible for Discover or search listings. Share those by link or QR code instead.
How long until my event shows up?
The Discover list refreshes at least once an hour. Appearing in search engines can take longer.
I want to remove my event from Discover
Turn off the Search visibility switch in step 1 of the share setup wizard. You don't need to unpublish, and links you shared still open. See Removing it from search above for the full steps.
My event is online but it's listed under a city
Only the webinar category counts as online. Remote events created under other categories are placed by the address you entered.
