Writing with AI

Get AI suggestions for your greeting and timeline, polish text you've already written, and see how many times a day you can use it.

When you're stuck on what to write, AI can draft it for you. It can also polish text you've already written — more formal, more relaxed, and so on.

You don't have to use what the AI produces as-is. Pick the sentences you like and edit them yourself. Always double-check anything that has to be exact, like names and venues.

Where can I use it?

The AI tab — starting from scratch

The AI tab at the top of the editing screen can suggest:

ItemWhat it produces
GreetingSeveral draft greetings, based on your event type and the tone you pick
TimelineA draft running order for the event
TranslationYour content in another language (premium only, separate limit)

Polishing text — fixing what you've written

Select text in an input field and use the button that appears.

OptionResult
More formalA polite, refined tone
More casualA friendly, relaxed tone
ShorterSame meaning, less text
More emotionalWarmer, more heartfelt wording
ProofreadOnly fixes awkward phrasing and typos

Daily usage

AI use is capped per day.

PlanUses per day

  • The count resets every day
  • Translation is counted separately from the numbers above (see below)
  • If a generation fails, it doesn't count against your total

On the free plan you don't get many attempts, so decide on the tone first and generate once. Editing the draft yourself is faster than regenerating repeatedly.

Translation has its own allowance

Translation draws on a completely separate count from the greeting and timeline above.

What counts as one useOne use per language translated

When you add a language and press translate, every section of your invitation is translated at once and that costs one use. It's counted per language, not per section — so you can translate up to 2 languages a day.

So work like this

  1. Finish the content in your original language first, then translate. If you edit the body text later, you'll need to translate that language again — and that costs another use
  2. If you need several languages, work through them starting with the most important one
  3. You can edit translation results directly in each language tab. If only part of it reads oddly, fix that part instead of re-translating

Failed translations are not deducted from your count. Just try again shortly.

Getting better results

  • Fill in your event details first. With the date, venue, and host in place, the wording comes out far more natural
  • Pick a tone. The same event reads completely differently in a formal vs. relaxed tone
  • Don't expect one perfect result. Draft → keep the lines you like → edit them yourself is the quickest path

When it doesn't work

It says the feature is premium-only

AI for the free plan may be temporarily closed depending on our operating policy. Either go premium or try again a little later.

"You've used all your attempts"

You've used up today's allowance.

  • It resets the next day
  • For more, going premium raises it to 10 per day

The generation failed

This is usually temporary, or a sign that requests are backed up.

  1. Try again shortly — failed requests aren't deducted from your count
  2. Check that what you entered isn't unusually short or long
  3. If it keeps failing, let us know through Support
