Video Embed Section

A universal section that lets you embed a video player in your invitation just by pasting a YouTube or Vimeo video link.

What Is the Video Embed Section?

• Embed with just a URL: Paste a YouTube/Vimeo video URL and it's automatically recognized
• Automatic thumbnail: Vimeo thumbnails are fetched automatically via API, while YouTube thumbnails are available instantly
• Universal section: Works for any purpose, from wedding video letters to conference introduction videos

Setup

Configuring in the Editor

1. Add the Video Embed section from the left panel of the editor
2. Configure the following options:

Entering a URL

Enter a YouTube or Vimeo video link and it will be recognized automatically.

• On successful recognition, a "✓ YouTube/Vimeo video recognized" message is displayed
• If the URL isn't recognized, an error message is shown — double-check the link format
• For Vimeo, the thumbnail is automatically fetched and saved when the link is registered

Setting the Aspect Ratio

You can choose the aspect ratio of the video player. Matching it to the original video's aspect ratio ensures the video displays without any cropping.

Usage Examples

• Weddings: Video letters from the couple, wedding highlight videos
• Business: Product/service introduction videos, conference teaser videos
• First birthdays/events: Growth journey videos, invitation videos
