Date/Time
Set your event date and time, and learn about the add-to-calendar and timezone display features.
Date/Time
This section lets guests know your event date and time. Choose a style and configure the add-to-calendar button and timezone display.
What is Date/Time?
- 6 styles: classic / calendar / card / typography / editorial / period
- Add to calendar: Guests can add the event directly to their own calendar app
- Timezone display: Shows the time zone for guests abroad
- Period display: Supports multi-day events, not just single-day ones
Setting It Up
Configure in the editor
- Select the Date/Time section on the left side of the editor
- Configure the following items:
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Style | classic / calendar / card / typography / editorial / period |
| Title | Title shown at the top of the section |
| Date | Event start date ("Start date" for the period style) |
| End date | Shown only for the period style |
| Time | Event start time ("Start time" for the period style) |
| End time | Shown only for the period style |
| Description | Supporting text below the date |
| Show calendar | Whether to display the mini calendar widget (not available for the typography style) |
| Add to calendar | Lets guests add the event to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, etc. |
| Show timezone | Whether to display the time zone |
Selecting the "period" style adds extra fields for the end date and end time. This is ideal for multi-day events like workshops or trips.
Add to calendar feature
Turning on Add to calendar lets guests register the event to their own calendar app (Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, etc.) with a single button tap from the invitation.
Timezone display
Turning on Show timezone lets you choose the reference time zone in the sub-setting below. This helps guests abroad follow the schedule in their own local time without confusion.
If you have many guests living abroad, turn on the timezone display to reduce confusion about times.
Using a Background Color
Turning on Use background color applies the template's accent background color to the section.
