Theme and Design Customization

Make your invitation uniquely yours! You can change everything from colors, fonts, and backgrounds to music and animations.

Finding Theme Settings

  1. Left area of the editing screen
  2. Click the "Theme Settings" tab at the top
  3. Various customization options will be displayed

Recommended order: Enter all your content first, then set up the theme. Having content in place makes it easier to check whether the colors and fonts work well together!

Theme Presets

You can apply a ready-made theme all at once:

16 presets are available:

PresetFeel
MinimalClean and simple
ClassicTraditional and formal
BrownWarm and earthy

After selecting a preset, you can adjust colors, fonts, and more individually, or choose Custom to set every value yourself.

Changing Colors

Color Picker

Click any color item in the theme settings to open:

  • Color picker: choose a color visually
  • HEX code: enter one directly (e.g. #FFB6C1)

Font Settings

Global Font Settings

The default font applied to the entire invitation.

In Theme Settings > Font Selection:

  1. Font selection: choose a font from the dropdown
  2. Font size slider: adjust the overall font size ratio (0.5x ~ 2.0x)
  3. Text alignment: left / center / right (overall default)

24 fonts are available in English. A few of the most-used ones:

FontFeelRecommended For
MontserratModern and clean, highly readableModern invitations
Playfair DisplayElegant and sophisticatedFormal invitations
Cormorant GaramondClassic serif, refinedClassic invitations
LatoSoft and comfortable, friendlyWarm invitations
Great VibesElaborate calligraphyWedding invitations
Dancing ScriptHandwritten feelCasual invitations

Also available: Lora, Raleway, Merriweather, Crimson Text, EB Garamond, Roboto, Josefin Sans, Cinzel, Pacifico, Alex Brush, Pinyon Script, Parisienne, La Belle Aurore, Homemade Apple, DM Serif Display, Permanent Marker, Limelight, Barriecito.

The font list changes with the language you are editing in. Korean, Japanese, and Vietnamese each have their own font sets, so the dropdown always shows the fonts that render correctly for that language.

You can use up to 2 fonts. Using too many fonts can hurt consistency.

Per-Section Font Override

You can set a font or size different from the global setting for each section!

Select a section from the left sidebar, then in that section's editing area:

SettingDescription
Individual fontApplies a different font to this section only (independent of the global font)
Individual size ratioAdjusts the font size ratio for this section only (independent of the global size)
Apply to title onlyWhen enabled, the font/size applies only to the section title (h2); body text keeps the global setting
Individual alignmentSets this section's text alignment differently from the global setting

Usage examples:

Example 1: Serif font for the greeting only

  • Global font: Montserrat
  • Greeting section: individual font → Cormorant Garamond (formal feel)
  • Other sections: keep the global setting

Example 2: Larger title on the main screen only

  • Global size ratio: 1.0 (default)
  • Hero section: individual size ratio → 1.5 + enable "Apply to title only"
  • Result: only the Hero title is 1.5x larger; body text stays at the default size

Example 3: Left alignment for the gallery section only

  • Global alignment: center
  • Gallery section: individual alignment → left
  • Other sections: keep center alignment

Global vs. Per-Section Priority

Section's individual setting (if present) > Global setting
  • If a section has an individual font set → that section uses its individual font
  • If a section has no individual setting → the global setting applies
  • If "Apply to title only" is enabled → the title uses the individual setting, and the body uses the global setting

Per-section font overrides are best used only for sections that need special emphasis. This lets you add accents while keeping overall consistency!

Choosing a Layout

The layout determines your invitation's overall structure and mood. Which layouts you can choose depends on the template's category, and new ones are added regularly. Some of the most-used ones for personal events:

LayoutCharacteristics
BasicBasic layout, simple and clean
ArchArch-shaped frame, elegant feel
CelebrationFestive feel, ornate decoration
DateRevealDate-focused, numbers stand out
ElegantArchRefined arch shape, luxurious
GoldBorderGold border, luxurious
ModernMinimalMinimal, emphasizes whitespace

The layout affects the main screen (Hero) and overall structure. The default layout is set when you choose a template, but you can change it while editing.
