Do we need special hardware?
No. Any smartphone with a camera works. Staff open the scan page in a browser — no dedicated app or device needed.
Where do I see the gift amounts?
In your dashboard under the check-in tab. Individual and total gift amounts are shown per guest.
What if a guest shares their QR with someone else?
Each QR contains an HMAC signature tied to the invitation. Forged or already-used QRs are blocked and an alert is shown to staff.
Can I use RSVP and QR check-in together?
Yes. Use RSVP beforehand to know expected headcount, then QR check-in on the day to confirm actual arrivals and log gift amounts.
Is QR check-in included in the free plan?
QR check-in is a premium feature. Upgrade to unlock it.
