THE MOVE

Same forge, better ceiling

We outgrew the Hackney unit two winters ago — the ceiling was too low for the new press. The railway arch on Bermondsey Street gives us the height and, for the first time, a bench where people can sit and watch. Everything else is unchanged: same forge, same two of us, same waiting list.

Before you visit

There is no parking at the arch. The Snowsfields car park is a five-minute walk and there are cycle stands directly outside.

London Bridge station, Bermondsey Street exit, then four minutes on foot. Look for the green shutter on Arch 42.

Not for the open days. Commissions and repairs are by appointment as before — email us and we will find a slot.
